Passionate about your health
My Nutrition Philosophy
My Nutrition philosophy is all about balance, education and organisation. I like you to reconnect with food and encourage you to make changes to your current diet and lifestyle that are sustainable. I like to take you on a journey, where we will discover together which realistic health improvements you can make considering your personal situation.

I have seen in my practice that often the smallest steps can lead to big changes. But it is important to me that during your journey you start to understand the ‘why’; why are you suffering from these health issues, why is it that certain changes may have a greater impact? Knowledge empowers people, and when we feel empowered, we are much more motivated to commit to change.

My recommendations are often not limited to nutrition, I like to take a holistic approach in supporting you and therefore my plans will often also include lifestyle recommendations. I am also a big advocate of evidence-based research and the nutritional recommendations I make are based on the latest research.

Organisation plays a key role in making changes successfully. Simply said; if we fail to plan, we plan to fail. As we live in a fast-paced world, where our time is limited, my plans will include easy to follow steps that will help you feel organised and ready to start implementing changes.

You will take the lead into your health journey, but I am here to guide, educate and support you.
Qualifications & Professional background
I obtained a Master (MSc) and Bachelor (BSc) degree in Health Sciences at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. I continued studying at the College of Naturopathic Medicine to become a fully qualified Nutritional Therapist (Dipl.). Learning never stops within the fascinating field of Nutrition. I attend regularly (online) events, webinars and masterclasses to keep up with the latest evidence-based research.
Before starting my OWN Ltd. Nutrition Clinic, I worked for London’s most exclusive private women’s health club, Grace Belgravia. I created bespoke programmes and nutritional menus for members based on their unique health goals. Working closely with the best medical experts in the country, I have gained invaluable knowledge during my time at the health club.
I moved on to work within the NHS as a Diabetes Health Coach to help and support a wider audience and further specialise in one of the biggest health issues of the 21st century; Type 2 Diabetes.
Taking people on a learning journey, to guide, support and educate them is the most fulfilling part of my job. It gives me great joy to see people making big health improvements that change their life for good.
